What is it: A new story from Disney in tale all about the fairy as she tries to change who she is but with disastrous results. Of course, the key to learning about yourself is the message of this film and the animated joint looks even better in high definition.
Special feature highlight: The ability of kids to chat and interact live with other people watching the movie at the same over Blu-ray Live.
DEAD SPACE: DOWNFALL

What is it: This may be a new genre establishing itself right before our eyes as DVD and games blur the lines of entertainment. DEAD SPACE: DOWNFALL is a prequel to the video game DEAD SPACE that was just released a few weeks ago. There may be a whole cottage industry cropping up of prequel DVDs to popular gaming titles. While this has been done in the past after a gaming title becomes popular, this is one of the first times where it is nearly a simultaneous release. The cool thing is that that animated prequel film is as brutal and nasty as the game itself.
Special feature highlight: Plus, you also get a digital copy, which is always cool.
Got that Blu Feeling
While these aren’t the spotlights of the week, by no means should you pass them up. Add them to your Netflix queue or there are certainly some titles here that would make a great addition to your collection.

kes it debut in high definition. - HELL RIDE – The crazy biker gang, ample amounts of nudity and violence flick comes to Blu-ray as well as standard definition.
- KITT KITTREDGE: AN AMERICAN GIRL – Abigail Breslin stars in the first film from the AMERICAN GIRL books about a girl that keeps the home fires burning during the Great Depression.
- JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH – The re-imagining of the classic action journey looks even better in high definition. It is only too bad that it doesn’t have a great plot to go along with it.
