Venom is dead so stop whining about it people and Carnage is way too violent for general audiences and he's a rip off of Venom. Lizard defintley should be the main villain in spider-man 4 and hopefully Dylan will play him if the cast comes back. Also, they can throw in Kraven into the mix as a second villain to make things more interesting and exciting.

Even though there is going to be three villians in Spider-Man 3: Sandman, Harry(Green Goblin), and Venom, I feel that Sandman and Harry will die in this movie, and this movie will basically set up the character of Venom, and let you get to know him. Then in 4 he will be the main villian. I bet that Dr. Conner's will become the Lizard in 4 and Spider-Man will have to deal with both Venom and Lizard. Then, 4 may stand to introduce the character of Carnage to carry on to Spider-Man 5.

IN SM3 there doing a lot of action. if in SM3 there will be 3 baddies (greengoblin , sandman , venom) than in SM4 they should do more than only lizard. I think that if in SM4 would be lizard , scorpion and maybe somehow Doc Ok (for example someone saved him then) that would be perfect!

Lizard + Mysterio, do it up right, that's all you'd need. The brute, vicious strength of the lizard and the cunning magic and illusions of Mysterio would be a great combination with lots of possibilities. As we saw in X-Men 3, too many characters means none gets the attention deserved, and the plot suffers. Plus, finishing the series on a note where we see two background characters - Baker as Connors and Campbell as several roles (which works out perfectly already) come to life as two major league bad guys is a great move. Helps maintain continuity. My only request would be that Mysterio get the goofy dome for a hat, and that it not be messed with the way they completely ruined Juggernaut's head gear. Keep it real.

lizard in spidey 4 would be nice. i have also been reading that a plot with in the plot reveals they are filming a spidey movie within the moive (stan and sam play themselves) in a roundabout way, we get introduced to the special effects man who becomes MYSTERIO. him, venom, lizard, harry as a gobby...add three more and we got an unofficial "sinister 6" on our hands. throw some b-carders in there, i'd lke to see that. but dr. conners and venom are good enuff.

Just wanted to say Derrick from Ontario is actually incorrect. Eddie Brock does exist in the Spidey movies out currently. As a matter of fact, there is a reference to Eddie in the first Spidey movie. So viewers have already been introduced to Eddie so there really is no need for a lengthy introduction of Eddie in Spidey 3. And I might also add that I have viewed leaked footage of some scenes with Venom and I can confidently say that they will need a lot of time to spend on Venom for this upcoming movie. And I might also add that they did Venom justice. He doesn't look exactly like the comic... he looks far better. I am anticipating this far more than the other two. I have every confidence Spidey fans will not be let down... no this will be the best yet!!!!

I've always seen that too many villians or heroes for that matter, make the movie jump from actor to actor too much. Batman Returns and X3. I think the suggestions of having Venom and the Lizard would be enough for the movie and Spidey to handle. Connors was hinted at already, so they gotta make the change eventually. So lets say SM4 has these two, as a Carnage fan i'd have to agree on having a cameo at the end. Only a cameo though. Properly done, always makes a good cliffhanger. The change in directors may not be a bad thing, so long as almost everyone doesn't die halfway through the movie all X-Men style.

I think carnage would be a bad idea for sm4 if there is gonna be one. Venom is already there, thats one of the best saga's in the comics. I think it should revolve around venom if it's true that he'll be introduced only in teh last 20 mins or so. The lizard and venom would be the only logical choice for the 4 th sequal. Cause the really only mentioned connors, well that i noticed anyway.Eddie brock doesn't even exist in teh 2nd movie. Didn't him and peter go to school together?

i think that all of these ideas are great especially the lizard for the 4th but im not too sure that the movie will be as great because of how high the bar will be set and the change in directors. it will be seen differently from some other guy. sam raimi is an excelent director i dont think the next movie(if there will be one) is gonna be any good.

Venom definitley has to be in the fourth movie with Carnage. The lizard is also a good character but it should be all three. Dr. Conners should try to help spiderman kill off venom and carnage but also have his lizard problem. Since this is the last spiderman movie it should be the best. It should be a end of earth fight to the finish and obviously spiderman comes on top.

I belive it is safe to say that venom will definitly be in the 4th spiderman movie because if anyone remembers that bell scene when peter uses the sound to take off the symbiote costum then u see topher noticing that its peter and in the cartoon version you see spidey jump down and tie up brock in web hang him then leave and shortly after the suit drips down on to brock and there is venom.

Theyve already announced that Bruce campbell will be playing Quentin Beck in spiderman 3. Quentin Beck is the SFX guy who becomes mysterio. If Mysterio is in the 4th film, Im pretty sure Bruce is gonna play him.

The rock as Kraven? are you serious, the guy clearly can not act to save his life, and you can see him playing a RUSSIAN HUNTER? it was bad enough that doc oct didn't have a German accent, but Kraven is clearly a Russian name, it wouldnt make any sense for some "ga-brony" to play him. you guys want carnage, then support Venom and I'm sure they will make a spin-off movie for Venom where he fights Carnage. Lizard for spidey 4, great idea, if it all goes through, still a scorpion story would be good, like how JJJ makes him and then realize's what kind of monster he has made and learns to respect spidey (but on the outside, he doesnt show it). I think they are already trying to place the "Black Cat" in the movie if you watch the previews youll notice that Parker is dancing with a blond who i know is going to be someone important since it may break up his relationship with his wife. I havent watched the previews over and over to notice everysingle minute detail like some of you web heads above, but i do have a very large knowledge about Spiderman being as i grew up during his time as a cartoon character. Personally, Vulture would be a mistake, Scorpion, Rino, Hammerhead and Mysterio would be side villians much like the sandman is. Doctor Doom, and RedSkull are both major villians for other super heroes. Carnage cannot be used without Vinom, and I am uncertain if it would be right to through madam Web into the movies because she is a lesser known character. They could put craven into the mix in one of the next movies with the Rock, but is the craven really hardcore villian worthy. The lizard would be an obvious choice for the next movie and IF they only show Venom for 20 seconds or minutes at the end it would only be proper to set him in the next movie. Believe it or not he is the ultimate villian for Spidey. He is the complete opposite. Venom is like a dark and twisted version of Magneto in comparison to Xavior. It would be very interesting to make a giant marvel movie, but movie politics and payment to giant movie stars who are selfish prevents the hint of anything like that emerging. So for me Spidey 4 would be best fit if either they place scorpion, rino, and Mysterio in as semi bad, extreme bank robbers. Or the lizard in a mental game of friendship and reptilian rage.

I think this movie will end with a big fight where Harry saves Peter from Venom but then dies. The movie will end with showing Brock in jail and the symbiote will split and the other part will go onto Cletus. That leaves part 4 set up with Venom/Carnage/and The Lizard. Then Venom will become good at the end of 4 and kill Carnage. But someone above said that they want to see Morbius in the 5th movie but it's not going to happen. Raimi wanted to use him in a Spidey film but Marvel plans on making their own movie all about Morbius.

I keep hearing people say that theres gonna be a lot of venom in the 3rd film, but from what I understand, Venoms only gonna be in the last 20 minutes of the film. Most of the movie will be about sandman, and the new goblin. I think spideys gonna kill one or both of them because of the suit, and thats why hes gonna try to get rid of it, and thats how eddie gets it. Just a thought

Spidey 4? First of all, it would be nice to see one, but I don't think it'll be happening anytime soon. If it does, though, I wanna def see the Lizard. Black Cat would be nice, and, I guess Kraven. I've never seen him as a great character. Scorpion would be awesome. Carnage would ruin it. Having venom in 3 and putting another symbiote in 4 is pushing it.

I think Lizard would be awesome for the next film because of the attachment Peter would have to Connors. However I think Carnage would be a bad idea, because general audiences will have had more than enough with Venom from SM3. In an interview with Sam Raimi he revealed that this movie will end the story arc for Harry Osborn. So even if he does die (which I'm not sure how to bet on that outcome) he won't be back as a villain in the 4th movie. I think Kraven would be awesome, because he would be trying to hunt the Lizard and Spidey would be trying to stop both. PS Brian, the Lizard is a 'complex' character, not a 'complexing' one.

Maybe they could explore Petey's science side more fully with 2 scientist villans.....Lizard and MORBIUS! Can't you see Antonio Banderas as Morbius? It's like, what else can they do? Vulture's too boring, Electro's got one gimmick, and Mysterio, while cool, could only be useful as some sort of puppet master to another villan. I think it would be cool to go with the whole "JJJ is off the deep end" for one and do the Scorpion and the Spider Slayer.

I think we can give the symbiot a rest w/Venom. I don't wish to see Carnage like so many of you do. The Lizard would be great! Also, wouldn't mind seeing the Scorpion in the next movie either. Kraven would be a good choice as well(I can picture The Rock playing him). As for other heroes..I'm all for it. Just remember, you can't get characters to cross over if they belong to other movie studios. So that leaves us w/minor heroes like The Black Cat, Silver Sable, Spider-woman, etc.

I don't know about Jake Busey playing Carnage, the guy doesn't look crazy enough. I'd like to see a Carnage/Lizard combo in the 4th movie, since it seems the studio is very serious about making it. Though SM3 is setting the bar high, I think the special effects and sheer craziness of Carnage combined with Peter's emotional attachment to Dr. Connors and his alter ego would equal Spider-man 3. They would have to write an incredible script to sell me on a sinister six story, though. Six criminals with super powers banding together just to attack Peter isn't movie friendly enough.

It would have to be an intelligent mix of superfast-agile action sequences and exploration of the complicated relationship between spidey and connors(i just can't quit you). Hello: Spider-man 3 fans I'm a Huge fan of Spider-man and I cannot wait to see the third film this May. I am excited to see the returning casts Kirsten Dunst(Mary Jane Watson) who will become Peter Parker's wife(Tobey Maguire). I'm excited to see Tobey Maguire become Symbiote Spider-man in the next film this will be the beginning of the Venom saga. James Franco I hop he will stick around in character as Harry Osborn Willem Dafoe's son in the film. Dylan Baker is a wonderful actor I can't wait to see him as The Lizard in Spider-man 4. I heard that Becky Ann Baker Dylan's wife is in Spider-man 3 as James Cromwell's wife and mother of Bryce Dallas Howard's Gwen Stacy character. I also, want to see Carnage in the next Spider-man film I think Jake Busey will be perfect to play Cletus Kassady/Carnage he played Johnny Bartlett/The Grimreaper Michael J. Fox's nemesis in The Frighterners. Carnage is one of my favorite Spider-man villains next to Venom and he and Venom are a good tag-team. I heard a rumor that other Marvel character's would appear in the next Hulk movie time will tell Eric Bana please come back as the Hulk you were a great actor in the film. Topher Grace will be great as Eddie Brock, Jr. and Venom as, well as, Thomas Haden Church who the movie will revolve around him because, he is responsible for Cliff Robertson's Uncle Ben's character being killed in the first film by a carjacker played by actor Michael PapaJohn(Terminator 3:Rise of the Machines, Spawn).
