JACK BLACK TO EMBARK ON 'GULLIVER'S TRAVELS'
The TROPIC THUNDER actor will be portraying the title role in a big screen adaptation of Jonathan Swift's novel

THE SKINNY: Jack Black is set to embark on quite the journey, taking on the title role in Fox's big screen adaptation of Jonathan Swift's classic novel GULLIVER'S TRAVELS.
SHARK TALE's Rob Letterman has signed on to direct.
Black will be portraying Lemuel Gulliver, a travel writer who ends up on the island of Lilliput, home to a population of tiny people.
John Davis and Ben Cooley are producing. The screenplay was penned by FORGETTING SARAH MARSHALL director Nicholas Stoller and Joe Stillman (SHREK).
Black will be appearing next in Judd Apatow's THE YEAR ONE.
