THE SKINNY: Walt Disney Pictures held the World Premiere on April 2^nd for HANNAH MONTANA THE MOVIE.

 

Fans of the Disney Channel’s successful series HANNAH MONTANA will love this movie. It’s the story of Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) who is forced by her dad, Robby Ray (Billy Ray Cyrus) to take a break. Thinking she is going to New York…big surprise he whisked her off to Tennessee. Miley Cyrus was born in Tennessee, so for her this was like really going home. While there she is forced to choose between embracing her small-town roots and her secret pop-star persona, Hannah Montana.

 

The movie features the whole cast of the television show: Emily Osment (Lily Truscott/Lola Luftnagle), Jason Earles (her brother Jackson), Mitchel Musso (Oliver Oken/Mike Standley III), Moises Arias (Rico) and of course her dad on the show and in real life Billy Ray Cyrus, who is also a Producer.

 

Joining the stars of the television series were the other stars of the movie: Vanessa Williams (Vita), Lucas Till (Travis Brody), Melora Hardin (Lorelai), Barry Bostwick (Mr. Bradley), Beau Billingslea (Mayor), Emily Grace Reaves (Cindy Lou), Natalia Dyer (Clarissa Granger), Adam Gregory (Drew), Taylor Swift (plays herself), Rascal Flatts – Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus, Steve Rushton, Al Gough (Producer), Dan Berendsen (Screenwriter), and Peter Chelsom (Director).

 

Lots of guests showed up to see the movie.
