THE SKINNY: Recently Senator Entertainment held the premiere for THE INFORMERS at the ArcLight Theater. This movie reunites Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke since they did 9½ WEEKS together back in 1986.

THE INFORMERS is a story that takes place in the early 1980’s, with a vast array of characters who represent both the top of the heap (a Hollywood dream merchant, a dissolute rock star, an aging newscaster) and the bottom (a voyeuristic doorman, an amoral ex-con). Intertwining all the strands are the quintessential protagonists – a group of beautiful, blonde young men and women who sleep all day and party all night, doing drugs – and one another – with abandon and never realizing that they are dancing on the edge of a volcano. THE INFORMERS is an alternately blistering and chilling portrait of hedonism run amuck.

Seen walking the red carpet were the stars Mickey Rourke (who got made at us photographers at the end and flipped us off), Kim Basinger, Jon Foster, Austin Nichols, Lou Taylor Pucci, Mel Raido, Rhys Ifans, Jessica Stroup, Simone Kessell, Milena Arango, Victor Alfieri, Aaron Himelstein, Ash Baron-Cohen, Christopher Young (Composer), Marco Weber (Producer), and Director Gregor Jordan.

Contributing music to the movie: Justin Johnson, Jason Faulkner and Rene Probst.

Ironically, THE INFORMERS was Brad Renfro’s last movie before he died in 2008.

THE INFORMERS opened on April 24^th and is rated R for strong sexual content, nudity, drug use, pervasive language, and some disturbing images.
