THE SKINNY:  Paramount Pictures held the Los Angeles Premiere of STAR TREK on April 30th at the Grauman’s Chinese Theater. Fans of STAR TREK were everywhere…lining Hollywood Boulevard, which was closed from Orange to Highland, and the fans that were lucky got to sit in bleachers behind the photographers.

This premiere has to be one of the biggest premieres so far for 2009 and one of the most anticipated. This STAR TREK is a prequel and tells the incredible story of a young crew’s maiden voyage onboard the most advanced starship ever created - the U.S.S. Enterprise. The journey that these new recruits take is filled with action, comedy and cosmic peril. They must find a way to stop an evil being whose mission of vengeance threatens all of mankind. And boldly go where no one has gone before!

Seen walking the black carpet were the stars of the film: Chris Pine (James T. Kirk), Zachary Quinto (Spock), Leonard Nimoy (Spock Prime), Eric Bana (Nero), Bruce Greenwood (Capt. Christopher Pine), Karl Urban (Dr. Leonard ‘Bones’ McCoy), Zoe Saldana (Nyota Uhura), Simon Pegg (Scotty), John Cho (Hikaru Sulu), Anton Yelchin (Pavel Chekov), Ben Cross (Sarek), Winona Ryder (Amanda Grayson), Chris Hemsworth (George Kirk), Greg Ellis (Chief Engineer Olson), Jimmy Bennett (Young James T. Kirk), Rachel Nichols (Gaila), Faran Tahir (Captain Robau), Clifton Collins, Jr. (Ayel), Margot Farley (College Council Stenographer), Neville Page (Romulan Crew Member #2), Screenwriters and Executive Producers - Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, Bryan Burke (Executive Producer), Producer Damon Lindelof, and Director/Producer J.J. Abrams.

Moore, Neil Patrick Harris, Emma Roberts, Zachary Levi, Kendra Wilkinson, George Takei, Jack Coleman, Beth Toussaint, Sophia Bush, Robert Rodriguez, Cristine Rose, Kristin Cavallari, John Noble, Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Hank Azaria, Eugene Roddenberry, Scott Speedman, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Harold Perrineau, Perrey Reeves, Frankie Muniz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Lea Thompson, Howard Deutch, Peter Facinelli, Masi Oka, Sumner Redstone, Brad Grey, Seth Green, Jon Heder, Daniel Heder, Jorge Garcia, Hayden Panettiere, Michelle Monaghan, Natalie Maines, Anna Torv, Mark Valley, Tori Spelling, Rainn Wilson,  Holiday Reinhorn, Christian Slater, Heidi Klum, Matthew Fox, Nicollette Sheridan, and Leighton Meester.
