Celebrities join Directors Alastair Fothergill and Mark Linfield for a very special premiere

THE SKINNY: EARTH is the first in the Disneynature lineup of films, a brand new venture for Disney in 60 years. Although, if you are old enough to remember WALT DISNEY”S WONDERFUL WORLD OF COLOR television show (1954) they had some wonderful shows on nature. EARTH is narrated by James Earl Jones. Patrick Stewart narrates the English version and Ulrich Tukur the German version.

EARTH tells the story of three animal families and their amazing journeys across the planet. EARTH combines rare action, unimaginable scale and impossible locations by capturing the most intimate moments of our planet’s wildest and most elusive creatures.

Directed by Alastair Fothergill and Mark Linfield, the acclaimed creative team behind the Emmy Award-winning PLANET EARTH.

Wyland, the World’s best-loved environmental artists unveiled a monumental original work of art for Earth Day, which was inspired by the film. The 4,000 square-foot painting was revealed at the premiere at the El Capitan Theatre and the painting hangs over the marquee at the theatre. Wyland, has earned the distinction as one of America’s most unique creative influences and a leading advocate for marine resource conservation. He is best known for his monumental Whaling Wall mural project.
