THE SKINNY: Walt Disney Pictures held the World Premiere of G-FORCE on July 19th at the El Capitan Theatre. It was another hot day in Hollywood, but thankfully Disney set up the carpet where the press was in the shade…thank you Disney!
G-FORCE is a high-octane comedy adventure in Disney Digital 3D involving the latest evolution of a covert government program to train animals to work in espionage. These trained animals are non-other than guinea pigs…Darwin (voiced by Sam Rockwell), the squad leader determined to succeed at all costs; Blaster (voiced by Tracy Morgan), an outrageous weapons expert with tons of attitude and a love for all things extreme; and Juarez (voiced by Penelope Cruz), a sexy martial art pro; Speckles (voiced by Nicolas Cage, the computer and information specialist.
Seen on the carpet were most of the stars: Jon Favreau (Hurley – the pet shop lay about), Sam Rockwell, Zach Galifianakis (Dr. Ben Kendall), Kelli Garner (Marcie Hollandsworth), Bill Nighy (Saber), Niecy Nash (Rosalita), Gabriel Casseus (Agent Carter), Jack Conley (Agent Trigstad), Tyler Patrick Jones (Connor), Piper MacKenzie Harris (Penny), Justin Mentell (Terrell), Trevor Rabin (Composer) Jerry Bruckheimer (Producer), and Hoyt H. Yeatman (Director). Additional music talent – Flo Rida and Steve Rushton.
Joining the star were guests: Vincent and Alex Martella, Ryan Newman, Gena Lee Nolin, Adam Hicks, Shea Fisher, Trenton Rogers, Chris Harrison, Debby Ryan, Jennifer Stone, Leslie Bibb, Brenda Song, Sammi Hanratty, Antoine Fuqua, Lela Rochon, Chloe Grace Moretz, Holly Robinson Peete, Ed Begley Jr., and Eva La Rue.
